This $15 million project is being constructed on the grounds of the historic Quarter Circle A Ranch along the base of the scenic Big Horn Mountains. Just twenty minutes south of Sheridan, WY the museum foundation aims to provide the public with a top notch western and Native American art museum based in the most beautiful of locations. While offering some of the West’s most scenic views, the site also provides a quandary of a location for construction surveying. GDA Engineers’ Survey Department rose to the challenge and has laid the groundwork for all of the new museum’s facilities including building layout and utility location, roadwork, finish grade and landscaping staking. Additionally, the site’s new water treatment facility and over 4300 feet of on-site pipeline were constructed from GDA pounded stakes.
